Bernd Schneider founded Vacu Vin BV in 1986. The concept of the Vacuum Wine Saver came from the desire to preserve wine bottles once opened. So, with his engineer brother, he developed a preservation device. The Vacuum Wine Saver is now used by more than 30 million households in over 75 countries. This was followed by the creation of other accessories, each more ingenious than the last.
