A great way to keep milk close at hand, without refrigeration. Skim Milk Powder (Non Instant) is a white, fine, dense powder made by concentrating milk to remove most of the water. This method creates a flavor similar to evaporated milk, and can replace simmered milk in traditional recipes. Slower to reconstitute, it is best when combined with lukewarm water in a blender or whisk, and cooled before consumption. It is the favorite of bakers.
Mix 100 to 125 ml of powder per 500 ml of water for non-instantaneous powder.
