Included in this set:
Tea Studio | Nilgiri Coonoor (Black tea, India)
These large, metallic black leaves come from the blue Nilgiri Mountains of southern India. Surprising for a tea of its kind, it will delight fans of light, aromatic black teas. On the nose, it offers a fruity (candied papaya, peach) and slightly floral (osmanthus) bouquet.
On the palate, its lively liqueur with well-structured tannins has spicy (pepper, coriander seed), fruity (orange zest, candied fruit) and slightly malty aromas.
Its finish is supple and lingers on the palate with pleasantly fruity tannins.
The Tea Studio is a tea factory in the Nilgiri Mountains of India, created in collaboration with a group of Indian partners and Camellia Sinensis. We have all put our respective expertise to work to propel this innovative company, managed entirely by a local team of women. The Tea Studio is a project that inspires us and to which we instill the same values that our Tea Houses uphold.
Si Ji Chun (Wulong tea, Taiwan)
Brought to us from the mountains of the Nantou region of Taiwan, this green Wulong rolled into beads is now one of the industry standards.
A highly versatile and adaptable cultivar, Si Ji Chun produces a highly aromatic tea at both low altitudes and high mountains. It's no surprise today to find it in gardens all over the world.
Highly appreciated by daily consumers for its low caffeine content and its generous floral aromas (lilac, freesia), it offers something to drink and drink again.
Huiming (Green tea, China)
This green tea from Zhejiang province in China is expertly produced by Mr. He, a dynamic and avant-garde producer.
The curly leaves, accompanied by generous buds, release a rich and flavorful liqueur when infused. Bright and lively, it unfolds aromas of spring flowers and raw zucchini. Its fruity (peach) and herbaceous nuances support its long, airy finish.
A balanced and fine tea.
