Its coated steel spikes with scratch-resistant ends accommodate a wide variety of tableware. The grooves on its base facilitate water drainage and prevent it from getting trapped in overturned cups or glasses. Slots for sharp knives are provided in the movable cutlery drainer, and a sturdy rail at the back helps hold cutting boards or other large items.
