Forge de Laguiole knife in bovine bone composed of a blade made of French steel (T14). It has two stainless steel bolsters which protect the ends of the handle from daily use.

A classic Laguiole folding knife. This pocket knife is made in France in our cutlery factory in Laguiole-en-Aubrac, according to the knifemaking tradition dating back to 1828. This guarantees its exclusive French origin.

Its forged stainless steel blade (T14), custom-made for Forge de Laguiole, will ensure exceptional sharpness and easy sharpening.

Since most of the materials used are of natural origin, their appearance (color, veining, grain) is likely to vary from one item to another. The photos on this site are not contractual.

The size indicated corresponds to the length of the closed knife.

  • Number of pieces: 1 piece (blade)

Steel

T14 steel is a French steel hot-rolled by the Bonpertuis steelworks. This steel is a mixture of chrome and carbon, but it is stainless, which guarantees a high-quality edge and easy sharpening. Some highly acidic foods can oxidize this blade, which is why after use it is recommended to wipe the blade with a damp cloth and dry it to avoid the appearance of oxidation spots.
