Spreadable butter is a unique product, the result of a
family tradition. With a smooth, soft and creamy texture, it is a
delight for the palate. Escuminac produces a premium quality syrup
with a deep respect for the environment. Organic maple syrup
is the result of rigorous management practices in the sugar
bush. Other tree species are left in the woods and the only
amendments allowed are wood ash, agricultural lime and
some natural fertilizers. In 2003, the company was certified
by EcoCert Canada, an environmentally sustainable
certification organization accredited by the USDA to grant
certification.
