This Belle Excuse is from a variety of black olives called Mavrolia. At the end of October, as soon as they ripen, the olives are harvested and pressed the same day. These exceptional olives grown in beautiful Trifilia, area blessed by its climate and the richness of its soil, have a very distinctive flavor and an acidity level inferior to 0.3%. For 2 months, this unfiltered olive oil is left to decant naturally resulting in oil with no residues rendering it perfect for cooking. CHARACTERISTICS: green color with golden highlights, mild and floral taste, hint of ripe fruits, peppery taste on the finish.
