In addition to the traditional ingredients of the classic Filippi Panettone, for this Panettone Mandorlato we have added many small pieces of almond cake, which melt during baking and leave fragrant traces of honey and sweet almonds in our Panettone.

Mandorlato is a typical cake of the Cologna Veneta area, known for centuries as the Christmas cake. It is said that Mandorlato was already known and appreciated in the time of the Serenissima Republic of Venice, and from the 15th century Cologna was considered an integral part of the Venetian "Dogado".

It is a very special Panettone, not only because of its composition but also because it is a tribute to the pastry culture of the Veneto region.
